New Update on SEC Terra Luna Case: Prime Minister of Montenegro Invested in Luna Tokens!
Recent court documents released by the US SEC have unveiled that Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic was one of the early investors in Terraform Labs. It was disclosed that Spajic invested $75,000 to purchase 750,000 Luna tokens back in April 2018.
The documents indicate that Prime Minister Spajic was among the first investors in Terraform Labs, shortly before its official registration in Singapore on April 23, 2018. This revelation comes following a settlement between Terraform Labs and the SEC, sparking renewed controversy over the failed crypto project.
According to reports from Montenegrin media outlet Vijesti, Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, who assumed office in October 2023, made the investment of $75,000 in Terraform Labs by acquiring 750,000 Terra (LUNA) tokens. Initially denying any personal involvement in the crypto project, the Prime Minister’s name was listed as No. 16 among the early investors in the SEC court documents, with an agreement dated April 17, 2018.
