Coinbase International, the global branch of the popular cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, has made an exciting announcement regarding the listing of a new altcoin. The EIGEN token will be listed on the pre-launch market, allowing users to trade tokens that have not yet been officially released.
EigenLayer (EIGEN) tokens will be available on the platform starting from 15:00 Turkish time (UTC+3) on June 18. This token is a middleware built on the Ethereum network, enabling protocols to utilize Ethereum’s secure trust network without the need for their own set of validators. Additionally, it provides Layer 2s with an off-chain data availability option to reduce costs.
