Cryptocurrency Alert: UwU Lend Protocol Hacked, Attacker Converts Stolen Funds to Ethereum (ETH)
In a recent announcement, popular cryptocurrency platform Arkham Intelligence revealed that the UwU Lend protocol had fallen victim to a hacking incident. The attackers managed to steal approximately $20 million worth of cryptocurrency.
On-chain security company Cyvers also confirmed the hack, stating that the attacker had converted the stolen funds into Ethereum (ETH). The attacker executed three transactions, obtaining around $19.5 million. The hack is still ongoing, with the possibility of the amount increasing. Currently, the attacker is exchanging the stolen digital assets for Ethereum (ETH).
