Binance Burns 1.3 Billion Terra Classic (LUNC) Tokens in June
In its regular monthly burning events, Binance has revealed that it burned approximately 1.3 billion Terra Classic (LUNC) tokens this month. This amounts to around $144,000 worth of LUNC tokens at the current exchange rate.
Despite the significant number of tokens burned, which accounts for approximately 1% of the total supply of LUNC, the market value of the altcoin remains stable at $615 million. The token has experienced a slight decrease in value of around 10% in the past week.
Binance has been responsible for burning about half of all Terra Classic tokens to date, totaling $6.4 million in value. The exchange typically conducts larger burns at the beginning of the month, but smaller burns may occur throughout June.
