Yesterday was a first for the cryptocurrency industry, with a US president attending a crypto-focused conference for the first time.
US President Donald Trump attended the Digital Asset Summit (DAS) held in New York yesterday and delivered a speech.
Although Trump did not attend in person, he stated in his video that he would make the US a Bitcoin superpower and crypto capital.

$13 Million Prediction!
While Trump’s participation made a big splash, many other important names were also present at the conference, including Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) founder Michael Saylor.
Once again expressing his support for Bitcoin, Saylor made a $13 million prediction for the BTC price.
Speaking at the Digital Asset Summit, Saylor said he believes Bitcoin will reach $13 million in 20 years.
Saylor noted that the fixed supply of 21 million coins makes BTC a unique store of value, unlike traditional commodities like gold and oil, whose supply increases as technology advances.
Stating that even gold, which is seen as a safe haven, has experienced hyperinflation several times, Saylor argued that Bitcoin is the only real asset at this point.
Saylor is known for his calls to buy BTC as well as his support for Bitcoin. Arguing that BTC is the only real asset, Saylor said that Europe and the Euro will need Bitcoin.
Michael Saylor made a splash with his post at a time when Europe was facing pressure from the US’s cryptocurrency policies.
“EUR will need BTC,” Saylor said.
Trump’s signing of a presidential decree that foresees the creation of a cryptocurrency reserve belonging to the US government has made Eurozone leaders worried about the future of the Euro.
