As we approach the end of 2024, there is only one question in the market: “How high will Bitcoin go in 2025?”
While various predictions have been made regarding this question, the latest one comes from Mike Alfred, a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency industry.
In a recent interview with Scott Melker, Alfred made a bold prediction for Bitcoin.
Alfred claimed that Bitcoin will reach $180,000 by March 21, 2025.
According to Alfred, the first quarter of 2025 will be crucial for Bitcoin, and it is expected to experience significant gains.
“The next two to three months are pivotal in this four-year cycle.”
Alfred’s optimistic prediction is based on the impact of the halving and the increasing institutional acceptance through ETFs.
In addition, users of Polymerket and Kalshi platforms are also anticipating Bitcoin to achieve a new all-time high (ATH). Currently, Polymarket prices the probability of BTC reaching $120,000 before the end of March at 50%, while Kalshi prices the probability of Bitcoin reaching at least $125,000 in 2025 at over 60%.
