The bank, which serves over 14,000 users, will be expanding this service to its entire customer base after a successful pilot in 2023. The combined solution from Ripple Custody and IBM allows the bank to securely build, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade key management infrastructure. This ensures the protection of private keys, applications, and data. Garanti BBVA Crypto currently offers services for various cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, Avalanche, Solana, XRP, Arbitrum, and Chiliz. Garanti BBVA Crypto CEO, Korcan Abalı, stated that they have witnessed a clear demand and increasing interest from their customers for digital assets. In response to this demand, they established Garanti BBVA Digital Assets in 2023 and have been providing services for various cryptocurrencies.
