Binance, a global cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its decision to end pre-market trading for Scroll (SCR) and launch spot trading for the altcoin. The pre-market trading for SCR will cease on October 21, 2024, at 12:00 AM UTC, while the token will officially be listed for spot trading on October 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM UTC.
As part of the listing, Binance will introduce new spot trading pairs for SCR, including SCR/BTC, SCR/USDT, SCR/FDUSD, and SCR/TRY. Users can already access the deposit address for SCR, allowing them to deposit tokens in preparation for trading starting from 13:00 on October 21st. Withdrawals will be available from 11:00 on October 23rd, 2024.
The listing fee for SCR is set at 0 BNB, and the network/smart contract associated with the token is Scroll Network (0xd29687c813D741E2F938F4aC377128810E217b1b). It is important to note that the trading of SCR will carry some additional risk, as it is seed-tagged, indicating that it is a relatively new token.
Binance has also provided some updates regarding trading and operational features. USDT deposits and withdrawals are now possible on the Scroll network, and there are no further announcements expected regarding this feature. The transfer function for SCR will resume before 13:00 on October 21st. Additionally, trading bots and Spot Copy Trading will be activated within 24 hours of the spot listing for SCR, allowing users with active Spot Copy Trading portfolios to include SCR pairs by updating their preferences in the Personal Pair Preference section.
