PancakeSwap, the renowned decentralized exchange, has revealed plans for an upcoming airdrop. They will distribute 2.45 million zkSync (ZK) tokens to their community. This initiative aims to reward both longstanding supporters and new contributors engaged with PancakeSwap.
The distribution of 2,452,128 zkSync (ZK) tokens will encompass CAKE Holders, Liquidity Providers, Active Traders, Traverse Campaign Participants, zkSync Prediction Users, and eligible zkSync voters. The airdrop registration opened at 10:30 UTC on July 5, 2024, and will conclude at 10:30 UTC on August 5, 2024.
In a statement, the PancakeSwap team emphasized that any unclaimed tokens by the deadline will be reallocated within the PancakeSwap ecosystem for future developmental and community projects.
Following the airdrop announcement, the ZK token experienced a surge, albeit overshadowed by declines in Bitcoin (BTC) and the broader market. As of the latest update, zkSync (ZK) is trading at $0.146.
