Based on the legal documents, the legal dispute between Binance and the SEC will move forward as the judge has largely turned down the requests to dismiss the case.
A Judge has made a decision to allow the legal dispute against Binance and CZ to proceed despite the efforts made by the involved parties to have it dismissed.
The section of the dispute that will not advance pertains to the SEC’s allegations that sales of BNB by entities other than Binance should be classified as securities.
The aspects of the dispute concerning the BNB initial coin offering (ICO) and the continuous sales of BNB by Binance will proceed.
The claims against CZ and BAM subsidiaries will also be pursued.
