Thiel confirmed that he still holds Bitcoin, although he admitted that he didn’t hold as much as he should have. He expressed some skepticism about the potential for significant price increases in the future. Despite this, Thiel’s venture capital firm, Founders Fund, invested $100 million in Bitcoin when the price was below $30,000, and reportedly made a profit of $1.8 billion by selling before the market crash in 2022.
